Activity Ideas
  • Write about memory – how can art preserve memories?
  • Art as self-expression: Ask students to discuss how art can be a form of self-expression. Ask them to list the different forms of art with which they are familiar / use to express themselves.
  • Write about history and art – how does art preserve history?
  • Recreate one of the pieces of art that is described in the novel.
