Crazy Hair Day
by Barney Saltzberg (Candlewick, 2003)
Stanley arrives at school for Crazy Hair Day but finds he is a day early and it is School Picture Day. Can he recover from the embarrassment?
As Stanley’s best friend, students write him a letter, either as a group or individually, to make him feel better. They should talk about how he feels and how they feel. They might connect it to how they would look on Crazy Hair Day and draw a picture to go with it.
