6+1 Traits®: Conventions
- Hairy, Scary, Ordinary: What Is An Adjective?

- Story includes numerous illustrated examples of adjectives.
Students make a “What is it” booklet, using either drawing software such as Kid Pix™ or paper and crayons. Inside the booklet, draw a picture of a person, place or thing and label it at the bottom of the page. On the front of the booklet, list four or five adjectives about the object and the title, “What is it?”
