Students will discuss information what a strike is and then examine the animals’ complaints. As a group, use a T chart to list and discuss what the animals’ needs and wants are. Students can then develop their own T chart about their own classroom needs and wants. As a class, determine what the class’s needs and wants are and compare them to those of individuals.
