Activity Idea:
With the students’ help, develop a list of physical characteristics. Using a word processor, such as MS Word™, students will select a characteristic from the list about which to write an acrostic poem. Type the letters of the word vertically. After typing a word or phrase for each letter, highlight each letter of the original word again and change to a different font, size, color and/ or format.
